MyCafe sits quietly on Littlewoods Lane in Hoveton, offering a straightforward, comforting spot for anyone keen on a no-fuss breakfast or a relaxed coffee break. It’s the kind of place you might find yourself returning to, whether you're starting your day or catching up with friends over a mid-morning brew.

The café has a relaxed, old-school feel that locals seem to appreciate, especially for its solid lineup of traditional breakfasts. The Meat Free Breakfast draws in those after a vegetarian option, while the full English and the hearty Mega Breakfast cater well to those with a big appetite. Portions look generous and fill the plate nicely, paired with sides like fried bread and homemade chips that have clearly earned some loyal fans.

Indoors, the space offers plenty of seating, cozy enough for singles or groups, and there’s outdoor seating too, which makes it a pleasant spot on sunny days. Parking can be a bit tight right at the front, so if you’re coming by car, it’s worth planning a little extra time or considering parking nearby. The staff’s friendliness contributes to a welcoming vibe that fits a casual, early-morning crowd as well as motorcycle meet-ups, showing it’s a place people make routine stops.

On the coffee front, expect straightforward classics — cappuccinos, americanos, and a fun twist with their pink hot chocolate — served with the kind of calm that matches the slow rhythm of village life. It’s ideal for those who want their drink without fuss, alongside a light bite or a proper lunch salad.

  • Best for a hearty, traditional breakfast or a casual lunch in a low-key setting
  • Favoured by locals looking for reliable, no-frills food and a friendly atmosphere
  • Morning through lunchtime visits make the most of the vibe and menu offerings
  • Dog-friendly and motorcycle-friendly, suitable for individuals and small groups

A practical choice on Littlewoods Lane, MyCafe serves up familiar tastes with warmth and a sense of easy, everyday comfort.

1st time visit here and it's brilliant. Food is excellent, service great and it's a cracking little place. Plenty of seating inside and out, highly recommended. Easy to find - satnav takes you straight there. Only downside is there's not a massive amount of parking out front but I didn't have an issue on my visit.

Proper old school cafe. We had 2 breakfast cobs and shared a order of homemade chips. Chips were particularly lush. Just like you nan used to make. Well worth a visit

If you are looking for a proper breakfast look no further and didn't want to waste time on a before photo as it looked and tasted so good.

Use this café as our m/c group meeting venue because there is plenty parking and the food and service are very good.

Excellent value for money. Have a great menu, I Had the mega breakfast, get toast, fried bread, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, double mushrooms, grilled tomato and beans. Tea or coffee included for £10.50. Pleasant staff and dog friendly. Amazing. Thank you

My first visit to this lovely very popular greasy spoon cafe which was holding a bikers get together. The food was lovely as was the welcome and the service. I will definitely be going back

My goodness, My Cafe is a gem. The best breakfast I have had in a cafe in a long time. We couldn't fault anything, cooked to perfection, even the cups of tea and coffee were good. Next time we are in the area we will be back. If you enjoy a proper breakfast then get yourself to My Cafe.
